We regret to inform you that December’s Poker Fever X-mas Special has been canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Unfortunately, the worst-case scenario has been confirmed. Due to the declaration of the state of emergency caused by Covid-19 pandemic in Czechia we were forced to cancel our December event.
The state of emergency was introduced by Czech authorities throughout the country. Reaching for such a radical preventive measure is associated with a drastic increase in the incidence of Covid-19. We spoke to a casino representative yesterday, who informed us that at the moment the casino can only operate at limited hours – which makes it impossible to play a big poker event anyway – and it is possible that the restrictions will become more severe and the facility may be even shut down completely.
What about online tickets that were supposed to be valid until the end of the year?
Surely you’re most interested in the status of online tickets, which were supposed to expire after the last Poker Fever event of the current year. We want to reassure you – no tickets will be voided. The validity of the tickets will be prolonged (ONLY) for the first event we are launching as soon as the lockdown is over.
